With over 25 years of investment banking expertise, Alex Alvarado specializes in mergers and acquisitions across Latin America and the Hispanic market in the U.S. He has held prominent leadership roles, including Head of Corporate M&A at Credicorp and Managing Director in the M&A Group at Credit Suisse, based in New York. Throughout his career, Alex has originated and executed more than $55 billion in M&A and financing transactions, with a focus on cross-border and emerging market deals in the energy, infrastructure, natural resources, industrial, financial services and fintech sectors.

Alex holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an Industrial Engineer degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. He also serves on the boards of Grupo UNACEM, Triangle Quality Foods, and Fibras Marinas.
